With 30 plus years of experience, Peter has held a variety of scientific, development and commercial leadership roles within the CRO, pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries with Charles River Laboratories, Kyowa Kirin and Ablynx NV, respectively. These included rare disease leadership, where he was the Global Launch Director for two orphan drug monoclonal antibody launches, one for the treatment of X-linked hypophosphatemia [XLH] and the other for acquired thrombotic thrombocytopenic purpura [aTTP]. Before this, he held UK and international marketing roles across multiple brands and led cross-functional product development teams.
Directly prior to joining CHR, Peter led consultancy teams across a variety of competitive intelligence, medical affairs, and commercial advisory projects with a global consultancy firm and provided subject matter expertise on commercialisation strategy.
Away from the office, Peter enjoys rugby including coaching and refereeing secondary school matches, golf and when time permits, messing around on boats.
